COURSE TITLE
The Bible: Selections (II)

DESCRIPTION
The course will be focused on the following issues: The New Testament as an interpretational tradition devoted to reading the Old Testament; the continuity and discontinuity between the two Testaments; Christology; Paul`s discourses on Christ, ethics, Christian life, and so on. The texts selected for close reading will be: the four Gospels, the seven authentic Epistles of Paul, Hebrews and Revelation.

REQUIREMENTS
Class attendance and discussions, an oral presentation, mid-term and final exams.
